Peter F. Strassegger

Peter F. Strassegger (born 1984) was born in Graz, Austria and lives in Bryne, Norway, where he works as a psychologist. In 2012, he received the Tarjei Vesaas First Book Award for his novel Stasia. He was nominated for the Nordic Council Literature Prize and the Uprisen for his young adult novel Aleksander the Great (Aleksander den store) in 2021. His second book for young adult, Rest in Peace (Kvil i fred) from 2023 was also nominated to Uprisen, and he recieved great reviews from critics and readers. In 2025 The Emperor Augustus (Keisar Augustus) completed the Brutality Trilogy.
