Tor Arve Røssland (born 1971) writes books for children and young adults, and is perhaps best known for his children’s horror series Black Mathilda (Svarte-Mathilda). He has been nominated for the Uprisen for Black Mathilda (Svarte-Mathilda), Black Mathilda III (Svarte-Mathilda III), Flash (Glimt), The Twelfth Player (Den tolvte spelaren) and Soledad. He was also nominated for the Boksluker award for Codeword Overlord (Kodeord Overlord).
